Xin Liu is currently an associated professor in School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. His research interests includes atmospheric pressure plasma assisted machining and modification, low-temperature plasma medicine, preparation and application of surfaces with extreme wettability, surface polishing, electrochemical machining, etc. From 2016, he has published 28 papers in SCI-indexed journals as the first author or corresponding author, including Advanced Functional Materials (IF 15.6, front cover), ACS Nano (IF 13.9), etc., his citations in Web of Science are more than 1000, H-index is 21, and has been authorized over 20 invention patents. He has been serving as an associate editor of IET Micro & Nano Letters since Oct. 2016, as well as a reviewer for over 20 SCI-indexed journals.
