Personal Information
Dr. WANG Nan is currently working as an Associate Professor at the School of Integrated Circuits, Dalian University of Technology (DUT). He serves as the Vice Director of Center for Semiconductor Sensors and Integrated Microsystems and the Research Secretary of the School of Integrated Circuits. He obtained a master's degree and a Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). In 2016, as a visiting scholar, he was invited to study at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Subsequently, he conducted his post-doctoral research at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Center and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). In 2020, he was nominated to attend the Global Young Scientists Summit held in Singapore. Dr. Wang has authored/co-authored many academic papers in the international high-level journals (such as, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Microchimica Acta, Nano Energy, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, etc.) and internationally influential conferences (such as, IEEE TRANSDUCERS, MicroTAS, APCOT, IEEE MEMS, BIOSENSORS, IEEE SENSORS, IEEE INEC, etc.). He has been a reviewer for many renowned academic journals, including Analytical Chemistry, ACS Sensors, Polymers, etc. He is a senior member of the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology. Dr. Wang has established extensive collaborations with many domestic and international research scholars. His main research directions include electrochemical sensors based on novel semiconductor materials and two-dimensional materials, flexible sensors based on polymer materials, as well as biological/chemical sensors based on functional materials.
