Professor LIU Haixing was graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology and obtained the Ph.D. degree in Urban Water Engineering. He visited the University of Exeter, UK for more than 1 year, following Prof. Dragan Savic. He has a short period of the Postdoc experience in the National University of Singapore, collaborating with Prof Christine A. Shoemaker.

The main research interests are Urban Water Field, including monitoring on pipelines, big data of urban water, water distribution and transmission system, urban flooding management and mitigation and urban resources allocation. He joined in many national and international academic committees including IWA China Water Loss Task Force, ASCE EWRI Environmental and Water Resource, etc.

He has published more than 50 peer reviewed papers including WRR, WR, JWRPM. He applied for 16 patents, published 2 industrial standards. He has obtained grants and industrial funds from NSFC, local water authority.

His research group welcomes students, research fellows and visiting scholars from all over the world. The vacancies for undergraduate, graduates, postdocs are opened for all time.
