    Li Benwen, doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Energy & Power Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, has been awarded "Academic Leader of Thermal Energy Engineering discipline in Liaoning Province" and "Talent of Millions of People in Liaoning Province". He has long served as the invited reviewer for more than 20 English journals such as Int. J. Heat Mass Transfer, Energy Conversion & Management, etc. He is also a member of energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Committee of China Non-ferrous Metals Society and a member of American Society of Thermal Fluid Engineers.

    Dr. Li is engaged in radiation hydrodynamics, radiation magnetohydrodynamic, instability analysis, energy conversion & storage, and other related researches, who has played an important role in promoting the development of domestic radiation magnetohydrodynamic. In recent years, he has taken part in or been responsible for more than 10 projects, such as the 973 Projects, the 863 Projects, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and key projects of the 13th Five-Year Plan. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 140 academic papers and more than 80 SCI papers. He has obtained 18 invention patents authorized by Chinese government, participated in compiling a textbook for the 12th Five-Year Plan of general higher education and an English book. He was awarded the first prize of "Metallurgy Science and Technology Award" of China Iron and Steel Industry Association and China Metal Society.
