Profile
Jian-Jun Wang is a Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management at the School of Economics and Management of Dalian University of Technology in China, and an adjunct research professor in the Business College of East Carolina University from 2012 to 2013, and a visiting professor in the Robinson College of business of Georgia State University from 2019 to 2020. He completed his PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Dalian University of Technology. He received New Century Excellent Talents in University honored by Ministry of Education of China in 2013. His active research areas are healthcare management, data analytics, supply chain management, social media analytics, econometric and analytical modeling. He has published about 50 papers in journals such as Information & Management, Omega, Computers in Human Behavior, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Information Science, Computers & Operations Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems and others. He served as a reviewer for a number of international refereed academic journals. He received three grants from the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and a Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University.
