Profile

Jinxuan Liu, born on 1978, Yantai, Shandong. He obtained bachelor degree (Applied Chemistry) on 2001 at Yantai University,  master degree (Physical Chemistry) on 2004 at Xiamen University, PhD (Physical Chemistry) on 2010 at Ruhr University Bochum (Germany). After that, he worked as a postdoctor in Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2011 to 2015.  On March 2015, he joined the  Institute of Artificial Photosynthesis in DUT as an associate professor.  Since July 2018, he has been promoted to be a full professor in State Key Laboratory of Fine Chmicals in Dalian University of Technology (DUT). His research focuses on the fabrication and application of surface-supported metal-organic framework thin films (SURMOFs), photo/electrocatalytic reduction of CO2, water splitting and solar cells. He has published about 40 papers (H-index = 20, Google Scholar) including Chemical Society Review (2, IF = 40.182), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (1, IF = 14.357), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (2, IF = 12.102), J. Mater. Chem. A (3, IF = 9.931). He was invited as a reviewer for Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Phys. Lett., Chem. Commun.
