教授,工学博士,博士生导师。2001年获开云平台首页 工学博士学位,同年留校任讲师,2004年至2006年在法国从事博士后研究,2005年晋升为副教授,2010年晋升为教授。

主要从事大型复杂工业装备的数值分析和优化设计,结构振动噪声的优化设计,压电结构的优化与控制,智能优化算法和有限元网格生成算法的研究。曾主持完成了国家科技支撑计划子课题一项,国家自然科学基金课题三项,辽宁省基金和辽宁省教育厅创新团队课题各一项,主持大连市双重项目一项。作为项目组重要成员,参加过国家杰出青年科学基金、国家自然科学重点基金和基金委创新研究群体项目,主持和参加了多项工业装备和软件开发的科研项目,是国产有限元分析和优化设计软件JIFEX系统的主要设计和开发成员,在国内外学术期刊和学术会议上发表论文90余篇。2009年入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,2011年进入辽宁省百千万人才工程百人层次人选,有限元分析与优化软件的研究应用成果曾分别获得辽宁省和教育部的科技进步二等奖,为HW公司研发的软件成功得到了工业级应用,解决了国产工业软件的“卡脖子”技术。
